Located in Kartal, Istanbul, the rooftop of a family house is renovated in order to create an alternative space for their daily life. As a common space for the family of five,the space is re-organized based on activities eating, relaxing, watching, sunbathing, reading etc. The usage of open spaces is being maximized in the project; therefore, the roof space designed with adaptable steel construction is designed for flexible uses.
