Çanakkale's Architectural Memory

In collaboration with Kalebodur and SALT, we took part in a thoughtfully curated journey that allowed us to read Çanakkale’s architectural memory, with a particular focus on its modern architectural heritage, through multiple layers.
Spanning three days, the route extended from the Troy Open Air Museum and the Troy Museum, guided by Fecri Polat and Ömer Selçuk Baz, to the SM House and B2 House with Hakan Tümertekin. It continued with Arazi Assos, presented by Ali Dostoğlu and Uğur Özer, and concluded at the Assos Archaeological Site with Prof. Dr. Nurettin Aslan. Beyond architecture itself, the experience foregrounded dialogue, exchange, and collective learning, unfolding as a rich and multi layered exploration.
Being part of this program, which also offered the opportunity to engage with the local values accompanying Çanakkale’s modern architectural legacy, was truly meaningful for us.
