Indira Gandhi International Airport T1 | Consultancy Project
Prior to the construction tender of Indira Gandhi International Airport Terminal 1, the client commissioned a specialized consultancy scope centered on the building envelope and primary structural systems. This pre-construction phase encompassed a rigorous evaluation of all pertinent technical documentation, including architectural drawings, structural layouts, and material specifications, with the objective of ensuring full alignment between the design intent and the operational, aesthetic, and regulatory requirements of the project.
As a core component of the consultancy deliverables, a comprehensive digital model of the proposed development was meticulously generated from inception. This model served not only as a representational tool but also as a means to verify spatial coordination, system integration, and adherence to the project’s defined performance standards.
In parallel, the consultancy incorporated a series of value engineering exercises aimed at enhancing both design efficiency and construction feasibility. These assessments were instrumental in identifying opportunities for material optimization, process refinement, and cost-effective solutions—thereby facilitating a streamlined implementation strategy while maintaining design integrity and functional robustness.
